Andrés estalla contra Felipe y le culpa de la muerte de Mateo – Sueños de Libertad

Consumed by grief and anger, Andrés confronts Felipe, unleashing the fury he has been holding back. “What you did,” he begins, his voice trembling, “was take someone who was struggling and give them a chance. But that’s not enough! Mateo told me he arrived drunk, and you still let him stay in the factory. Luis, how could you let this happen?”

Andrés struggles to contain himself, his emotions boiling over. “You should have known better! You should have foreseen this!” Someone tries to calm him, saying, “Andrés, don’t be so hard on yourself. It’s not fair.” Andrés snaps back, his voice cracking with pain, “What’s not fair is that Mateo is dead, that Claudia has lost everything. That’s what’s not fair!”

The tension reaches its peak when Andrés turns directly to Felipe. “This wasn’t some accident. The only one responsible for what happened is the person who was supposed to fix that van but didn’t. That’s you, Felipe. I trusted you, and you failed.”

Felipe tries to offer an apology, stammering, “I’m sorry, Andrés.” But Andrés cuts him off, shouting, “Sorry doesn’t bring Mateo back! Two people are dead because of your negligence, and another is dead inside because of the pain you’ve caused!”

Felipe attempts to leave, but Andrés blocks him. “You’ll pay for what you’ve done. I’ll make sure of it. I’m filing a complaint against you. And don’t you dare step foot in this factory again!” His voice echoes with finality, “Get out of here!”

As Felipe exits, the weight of Andrés’ words hangs heavy in the air. While Felipe bears much of the blame, the tragedy is a stark reminder of how deeply grief can fracture lives.
